Christmas was really unique for us this year. This Christmas marked the first Christmas for our baby. What made this holidy even more special was that my parents came to celebrate with us. It also marked the first they have physically seen and held their new grandbaby girl. It was great. Seeing the interaction between the Grandparents and the baby:

• Grandpa’s ineteraction is probably best described in his own words. I believe Grandpa phrased it as his charisma. *Smirk* You should have seen Grandpa the first time she cried. Priceless! Where was his charisma then? *Laughs*
• Then there was Granny’s interaction. I believe Granny was not as cocky as Grandpa.    However, she did find out that when it was baby’s feeding time; the baby is quite persuasive in her arguement…I believe the phase Granny learned was “Uhhhhhhh-Uhhh!” Once again priceless

My wife really enjoyed having them around also. It actually gave her longer breaks considering she is under the weather. That was the only sad part. We all managed to get sick, except for Grandpa and Granny. Hmm…:)  

The Grandparents left earlier today to head home. I am quite often worried about them traveling. Not really sure why, because they are seasoned travelers and have taught me a thing or two about traveling.  They made it home safely without issue. Another blessing.

Out of all of this, it was merely great to see my Parents. I love them very much. I believe I do what must offspring do. That is we do not tell them enough how much we love them, and how much they mean to us. I have been truly blessed. Thank You God for such great parents. I just hope I can be half the parent to my daughter that my parents were to me.  Amen…
