		<description>Tricia, I have no doubt that your facts are probably correct.  However, if no one chose to do those jobs, then it probably would have forced the offered wages to go up.  I totally agree with the economy not meeting the basic needs.  We have counties near where I live that were considering charging the parent &quot;gas money&quot; for the school buses to bring the kids to school!  I have never heard of such a thing.  My own children did not even have a school trip, and other things associated with being a senior because the county is in such hardship.

I find it very difficult to believe that if everyone is paying into our income tax system that such things would be necessary.</description>

		<description>Yes, immigration is a very difficult dilemmna to cope with in an overburdened underserved country. However the state of CA provides or at least used to provide over 1/5 of the worlds food supply, most of it planted and harvested by migrant farmers  because US citizens didn&#039;t want to pay a minmum wage or liveable wage and benefits for US citizens to do these tasks as well as many others. Our own economy does not meet basic needs of many of our own citizens. Perhaps we should begin by making this country affordable for the majority. no easy task but viable.</description>
