I have many friends who have gone over seas to Iraq. I am also quite sure I have many more that I am not aware of. However, this past week was the first time I had someone so close to me…confirmed dead. Did you hear me? “Confirmed dead…”
It is kind of hard for me to write about this. I personally grew up with this person. He was like...No, he was a little brother to me. The day he told me he had cross the sands to become my fraternity brother are still fresh in my mind. I was also proud of him at college because I could say, there is another homeboy making it in this world. More importantly, he was making it the right way The loss is tearing me up.
