Watching TV is illegal!

All I can say is wow. I am at a loss for words. I believe they have now gone too far with the anti-piracy attempts. It also shows just how greedy people are. The TV and movie industry consistently talk about the money that they are losing. However, you never hear them talk about the money they are actually making. They now have AT&T apart of the Big Brother police. You can no longer surf the web without being monitored. Where does this end? I cannot for the life me understand why downloading a TV show that is shown on public TV is an issue. The next thing you will hear is that you cannot record it on your VCR, DVR, or whatever media you use to record TV. Why is this so different than when we used to use cassettes to record songs from the radio?

I can understand these things needing to be in place for movies which have not been released, movies that are playing in theaters, or even movies that only out on DVD. But Geez! TV shows that air on public television? Get a grip!
