“The Blind Side”

"The Blind Side"

I just watched the movie “The Blind Side” which is based on a book written by Michael Lewis. This is a very moving story, and says a lot about the human spirit. This story is something that was needed in the times that we live in. If you have not seen it, you should. What is stopping you?

To the actors of the movie…you moved me.  To the high school teachers and Miss Sue…thank you restoring faith in those who teach our children.  To Leigh Anne, Sean, Collin, and SJ…God Bless. To Michael…continue to make your “family” proud.

P.S. – I have to say it.  ”Go State!  Maroon!  White!”  Bet you did not see that coming from a MSU grad.  :)

Amelia Island
Jun 12th, 2010 by site admin

Well, it has been quite some time since my last post.  Despite this fact, I will not promise again that I will post more frequently.  I hope to eventually find that fine line between quantity and quality.  ;)  Well, I wanted to share my latest escapade with you.  This excursion was to a wonderful place called Amelia Island.  I will post a a couple of photos to get you started.  I will follow up with subsequent posts to this one.  :)  Cheers!

In the Street
Oct 4th, 2009 by site admin

Well another outing.  Turned out to be great fun.  Our trip this time took us to a street festival called “In the Street.”  This festival is located in Frederick, Maryland.  I would recommend it.  However, we had a bad experience with our particular paddle boat but it appeared the other families were enjoying themselves.  I have also included some pictures as well.   If you want to see the full picture, click the picture once wait for that screen to come up, and then click the picture again.  That should display the full picture for you.

Cheers!

Here is to family and fun!  Cheers Again!

Remembering a fallen brother and frat..
May 25th, 2009 by site admin

There is something weighing heavy on my mind and heart this memorial day.  I am thinking about Kermit Evans. He is the young man that is pictured on my sight in the right-hand side.  No, that is not a picture of me but a picture of my fallen frat brother, home boy, and little brother.  I am throwing the Phi for you Frat. \m/ A PHI! A Phi little brother…06!

So this day, let us remember what this day is truly for.  It is a day to pay homage and thanks to those who gave their lives for us.  It is a day also to give thanks to those who are in service now, and those who have served.  Thank you.

Change and yard work
May 23rd, 2009 by site admin

Well, a lot has changed since I last made an entry.  I will have to catch you up on that.  I will hopefully do that over the next couple of weeks.  But for today, I did yard work.  I am glad to say that I finished and the yard looks great. :)  I can thank my dad for showing me how to do a yard proper.  Thanks Pop!  Love You.  Love you too Mom! ;)

Cheers

I know.  I am still dragging my feet on posting.  I go through this cycle.  It will get better, and hopefully I will be back to adding picture content as well. :)
