Luray Caverns1

Luray Caverns2

Luray Caverns3

Wow! We actually took a road trip today! :) It was great. We went to Luray Caverns. The formations were amazing. It was hard to believe that at one time there was an underground sea. The second picture you see above is even more amazing. When you get to this area, the water mirrors a near perfect reflection of what is above. It is hard to tell there is water at the bottom and the formations at the top. The water is shallow also.

While we were there, we also went into the cool maze at the Caverns. The maze was fun, :) even when we got caught in the rain. So, pictures for you to enjoy.

Well, yet another reference that does not have any verbal post! :)

Cheers!

Photoshop Sketch Flower

Hmm…Well, here is another picture. The experimentation with the pictures is kind of fun. The what ifs per say. Hopefully, I will do more pictures later.

Photoshop Flower

I took some pictures a couple of weeks ago. Decided to finally do something with them. I opened my Photoshop User Magazine, and applied one of the techniques. I then decided to horse around some more with the picture and it turned out this way. I am actually thinking about framing and hanging it on the wall. :)

Cheers!

I keep finding things at Technorati that have no posts in them. There are pictures but no post referencing . On top of that, no one has posted about , which is a great site for learning Photoshop. Also, as a member of the National Association of Photoshop Professionals you get other perks. Check all of these out.

Weekend Outing

World War II Monument
Well, the weather was relatively nice this weekend. So, I decided to go out on an outing with the family. It was quite interesting, because we did not know where we would end up. We decided to head to the national mall and visit some of the monuments. So, we ended up at the World War II Memorial. It is quite a monument. More importantly, I am glad that I got to spend some family time.

I know it seems that I do not write about much in my blog, but I still trying to determine the boundaries of my writing. I have numerous variables that are weighing heavily on what I write. So, please be patient.

Cheers!

Snoqualmie Falls

Snoqualmie Falls park sign
Snoqualmie Waterfall
Well, here are some more pictures from our recent trip to Seattle. These are the things that I really miss from the state of Washington. When you actually visit these places, they kind of put things in perspective for you. That is that there is more to life than just work. These are the kinds of things and moments that you should be able to enjoy as a family, and with your family. The only sad part is that you have to nearly work yourself into a grave just to be able to enjoy some of the things in life. So, I am trying to make a sincere effort to not allow my work to consume me. This is despite the fact that it now consumes my nights and weekends. But that is another story to itself.  I will be making every effort to leave work at work. As they say, tomorrow is never promised to you…

Cheers!
