We came close to getting a Nintendo Wii for the small one today. We were about 3 minutes too late. We are going to try again tomorrow. We hopefully will have better look tomorrow. Happy Wii hunting to us.

Monday, October 29th, 2007There have been many comments on Apple’s latest OS release Leopard. I think some of the features are pretty slick and long over due. Even without the latest upgrade, I still say the same thing, “I Love My Mac! Macs Rule!” :) Cheers!

Watching TV is illegal!
Saturday, June 16th, 2007All I can say is wow. I am at a loss for words. I believe they have now gone too far with the anti-piracy attempts. It also shows just how greedy people are. The TV and movie industry consistently talk about the money that they are losing. However, you never hear them talk about the money they are actually making. They now have AT&T apart of the Big Brother police. You can no longer surf the web without being monitored. Where does this end? I cannot for the life me understand why downloading a TV show that is shown on public TV is an issue. The next thing you will hear is that you cannot record it on your VCR, DVR, or whatever media you use to record TV. Why is this so different than when we used to use cassettes to record songs from the radio?
I can understand these things needing to be in place for movies which have not been released, movies that are playing in theaters, or even movies that only out on DVD. But Geez! TV shows that air on public television? Get a grip!

Well, let me start by talking about my tunes. 
I finally made the plunge and gave in to the latest trend. I got myself an iPod, and invested in some Bose headphones. So far, I am quite happy with my investment. Apple is quickly reminding me why I thought my Apple IIe was so great. Yes, I was originally an apple consumer thanks to my parents. Don’t worry Apple, I am not leaving again. Also, I am introducing your next generation consumer to the joys of having an Apple. That should be good for another MacBook Pro, right???? I find it to be really good mutal exchange and benefit. I get great software, and the developers get exposure for theirs software made for one of the best OSes around. Even if you are not Mac users, you should head over there to see what you are missing!

For those of you who are Mac users, I wanted to tell you about a great tool you cannot do without. The utility I am making reference to is iClip. iClip is a multi-clip board and scrapbook utility. It allows you to store multiple items into your clipboard whether it is graphics or text.
When I discovered this utility, I have not been able to do without it since. I started using iClip at version 3.7. It has only improved from there. If you do not believe me, then take a look at the features that it has:
- Simplicity - Can be accessed as easily as your Mac’s docking space.
